I Love My Freedom is a patriotic e-commerce company that went from zero orders to over 1 million orders in just over two years. Join us as we dive deep into politics, digital marketing, e-commerce business, and the journey to success with Jack Murphy.

[7:20] Why should we listen to you?

Jack's journey has always been anchored by his passion. He has learned and grown in the digital marketing industry and has built over 1.3 million orders in two and a half years. With his experience, he has so much interesting takeaways, especially about marketing aspects that he could impart and hopefully will inspire and motivate others.

[8:35] Story of how things came to fruition

Growing up, Jack always wanted to be a professional football athlete. Influenced by his grandfather, an NFL coach, he grew up going to all the games and being in that environment. Jack has always been passionate about football. During his elementary years, he started building websites online, just for fun. Eventually, Jack ended up building his own motivational sports brand during his high school years.

[9:38] One of Jack's many influences is Donald Trump. When Trump run for president, Jack had that gut feeling that Trump would win, just seeing the charisma he had brought to the boring game of politics. He was inspired to build something similar to sports, but with Pro-Trump political collaterals, essentially.

[10:17] Jack grew passionate about business, the internet, and politics. In 2018, he ended up partnering with two incredible people, and together they built http://ilovemyfreedom.com/.

[12:28] What is the idea behind the name I Love My Freedom?

I Love My Freedom initially commenced as a news website before Jack was around. Eventually, he got on board as a writer for I Love My Freedom, and simultaneously, he was buying ad space on that site for his brands. When he met his business partners, they brainstormed and came up with shifting the gears and transforming the site into e-comm site.

[13:36] The vision of I Love My Freedom is to get patriotic products into the hands of as many people as possible coupled with the core foundation of God, guns, and freedom.

[16:19] Lessons you have learned in your journey that you think the world would benefit from knowing

Growing up, Jack had a very close relationship with his grandfather. As he describes it, they were each other's best friends. His grandfather has taught him many things, but the most impactful to him is the essence of appreciating life and treating every day like it's the last.

[18:13] I Love My Freedom constantly adapts to the fast pace industry of digital marketing. They value innovation, never stay complacent, and always stay on top of the game. Over the years, Jack has been exposed to different areas and facets of their business, from going through all the hurdles on the digital front, operations front, supply chain, and learning the nitty-gritty of the business's financial aspects.

[18:39] Do you have any worries as you put yourself kind of out more in the forefront and people connect a face to the products in the brand

Jack does not like to dip into waters where there's a lot of differentiation now. But at the end of the day, as they progress, these things naturally unfold.

[22:17] Where do you see the brand going, the business going, and then too what would you deem as success you're seeking?

Jack's goal is to reach a hundred million in gross revenue a day before he turns 26. The business continues to build this loyal following, efficiently assisting and providing quality service to their customers. Through their brand, they aim to reach out to people who are struggling, feeling unheard, and want to express themselves.

[27:18] What promise did God make to the world when he created you?

Jack has massive plans here, which ultimately boils down to making a valuable impact in the country. I Love My Freedom is hopeful to change lives and impact people that need it.

Key Quotes

[16:59-17:19] “I think that's what a lot of people are missing is people are ungrateful people. Get upset about little stupid things. And that's just kinda the culture that we're in. But I think just having an appreciation for everything is kind of the first and most important thing that's kind of helped me stay positive, stay hungry, and continue to grow.”

[25:21-25:27] “I think that's one of the most important things to life. And a lot of people miss that is just building positive momentum.”

Tony Kovicak - Lux Therapy

In today’s episode, our guest is Tony Kovicak, founder of Lux therapy. Their product was wrapped around something more of a passion for health and wellness. They were able to find opportunities for growth within an area to create medical-grade light therapy that is a sleek, affordable, and really precise product that helps a ton of people. Tony’s going to unpack not only the product and its benefits, but also the human behind the scenes cause something like this doesn't come to fruition from someone who's not passionate about it.

[6:06] Why should we listen to you?

My path is a combination of athletics and self-reflection and family and a lot of different disciplines. I've had a lot of setbacks throughout my life, but I've always gotten better and I've continued to grow and find ways to enrich my life and not only my life, but the people around me, even in the most chaotic and wild times throughout my life, I've found ways to connect with people and through that passion and that wellness.

[6:47] How did that become a passion from a kid?

Not so much. I grew up the youngest of four within a Midwest family and had a pretty normal childhood. And I think throughout my life, I've continued to have goals and purposes that have brought this out of me in a few different ways. Thinking back on how this all came about to where I am today, I had continued down this path of continuing to have a stronger career.

[7:38] When I started listening to my intuition and starting to understand what was really fulfilling for me, it was when I connected with people, it was when I was able to share something that brought out, not just goodness in me, but helping people see things that within themselves that they didn't really know were there.

[9:13] What was your life experience back then?

I grew up the youngest of four, grew up in an athletic family. We grew up in Midwest, Michigan, and our sport was wrestling. So I was the youngest of four wrestlers. My brothers were all wrestlers. My oldest brother when he was in his twenties and I was maybe 12 or 13, gave me the Anthony Robbins Awaken the giant within program 12. And he gives me this pretty serious motivational speaker set of tapes. So I started doing these programs and these tapes. At that age, I didn't really have goals and financial aspirations. I was actually applying these for wrestling.

[11:05] I grew up in a family where my father had worked at general motors, so there was always in the sphere of unemployment. So I had been instilled with getting a job and be happy that you have a job and stick with that job for the rest of your life. And if you have a job, you should be really blessed to keep that job. And if you leave that job, you must be crazy. So I had these ways of thinking about and how I was going through these stages of my life.

[12:13] I realized that my happiness was actually not really in line with all of those successes that I had had through my career. And I decided that it was time to actually make some changes. I shifted gears at that point. I took a big risk.

[16:34] I had this real appetite for health and wellness. That feeling of just being outside and being connected to nature, I wanted to hold on to that. And it was during this time that I'm living in San Francisco, that I came across grade light therapy. And at this point, I was very into the science and the rear.

[17:54] I was living in San Francisco and my mom had a health and health scare that basically made me reassess where I was and why what I was doing and what was important. Parents are in the late seventies and it was one of those things I wanted to be around them as much as I could.

[18:56] Lessons learned and what are you expected to do in years to come?

Lux therapy is a medical-grade light therapy device company. We produce and design and make our own products and we sell them direct to consumers. There are certain ones that interact with our bodies. Two very specific bands of light that they found just in the last 30 years are really beneficial to recovery. And sleep in the skin and helping with all types of arthritis.

[19:49] When I started digging into this and understanding and testing it on my friends and family and myself, I saw the benefits in a way that not only enhanced and gave me purpose to bringing this to the masses, but it really helped me with just with my workouts and my recovery and my skin.

[21:12] This product helps level out and make up for this deficiency that we have.

[21:41] How does Lux therapy work?

It's a device that you basically have in your home. Most of the products that are in the market are not built to actually incorporate into your life. We built it to be flexible, have a comfortable handle that can be easily moved by the elderly population. It's a small little device we're going to have more in the future, but it allows you to...

Eric Balance - Conscious Leadership

In today’s episode, our guest is Eric Balance, an entrepreneur, public speaker, Tony Robbins Platinum Partner, and digital marketing consultant who helps companies expand their online space leading to a wildly profitable business. Eric helps some top names in the industry monetize their knowledge online and assist them in building a brand around themselves so they can achieve the freedom and fulfilment they deserve. Join us in this fascinating episode with Eric Balance, as he shares his insights on his journey of finding the “more” in life.

[5:26] You probably weren't raised this way. How did you get here?

Eric has always been introspective and fascinated with how life works. He was not convinced that we just exist to get by. At an early age, he became skeptical, started having questions, and became focused on the pursuit of finding the "more" about life.

[10:00] For many years, Eric worked in the oil and gas industry, and money motivated him to stay in the field for a little while. Eventually, he realized that he was worth more, and he is capable of doing more. Eric has various work experiences in different industries, which allowed him to understand that these experiences were adding to his toolbox. His exposure and work experiences developed Eric's skills. He excels in sales and is great at building rapport with others, communicating, and connecting with others, especially concerning emotion.

[11:24] Coming to that realization, Eric decided to become a mindset coach. The physical aspect was a by-product of that pursuit.

[17:26] What does it mean when you talk about being conscious of doing the work?

Every day, our bodies are tuned in to what we have been conditioned. Eventually, that becomes the unconscious mind which develops into a routine. These routines have become so unconscious that we don't even seek for more, and we just do the same things repeatedly.

[19:52] Imagine yourself as a tool. Every tool has a manual. When you only read 10% of the manual, you'll not maximize and just neglect other special features of the tool. Using this analogy, if you start to tap into the 90% of your body - the mind and spirit, you will begin to live a life with a high level of consciousness, resulting in a more fulfilled life.

[26:49] Do you feel like that will allow creativity happened?

Whatever season you are in life, permit yourself to use these creative forces within you as a four-score possibility. And don't think that you always need to know what the outcome will be. Just believe enough that you're going, and you're doing the best you can with the knowledge you have today.

Key Quotes

[16:07-16:15] “This is the feeling of vulnerability that I am having right now. And it's okay for you to have that too.”

[21:51-21:59] “Allow yourself to break a pattern in yourself that creates a new understanding that gives you a new level of courage.”
