Emir Karabeg and Greg Kaplan, Topic: ‘College admissions process in the US and the future of education’
12/18/20 • 27 min
In the new Podcast episode, Emir Karabeg and Greg Kaplan, Founders of Artis, talk about the college admissions path to build an Artis application.
Artis is the customized college admissions app, available at App store/Play store, provides the strategy to help students gain admission to the school of their choice. It is based on the belief that every family should have a personal plan that tailors the college admissions process to a student's long-term success.
This success story began with Greg being Emir's college admissions counselor. Greg is a nationally recognized college admissions expert and author of the book ''Earning Admission: Real Strategies for Getting into Highly Selective Colleges.'' Emir founded a cryptocurrency startup earlier that ran successfully until its closure earlier this year. Along with running Big Rock Mining, he taught himself how to code in native applications and have been since. Since their first consult when Greg mentioned the idea behind Artis, they have been working together.
The college admissions process in the US is long, difficult, and expensive. Admission rates for colleges and universities in the US have dropped significantly over the past 10-20 years. It’s time for disruption, and it’s time for Artis to change the way we view education.
