Before we get into the episode, let's be besties! Follow me on insta, and let me know if you're a snookie, jwow, angelina, deena or sammy @MishOfNutrishMish

We need to talk about feminine energy—and not the outdated, bubble-bath-and-flower-crown version. I’m talking about the real stuff: the magnetism, the chaos, the confidence, and the mess that happens when it’s out of balance.

And who better to walk us through it than the icons of emotional expression, self-sabotage, and glow-ups themselves—the Jersey Shore girls?

In this episode, we’re breaking down:

  • Why Snooki might actually be the most energetically balanced queen of the cast
  • How JWoww’s tough-girl act is all masculine shield, no softness
  • Why Sammi wasn’t just “in love”—she was stuck in wounded feminine patterns
  • How Deena is all heart, no backbone (and why we love her anyway)
  • And what Angelina could be... if she ever decided to heal instead of spiral

But this isn’t just a nostalgic character roast (although... you’re welcome). This is a mirror. We’re using these archetypes to reflect back where you might be operating from wounded energy without even realizing it—and how to shift into your soft, powerful, magnetic self without losing your edge.

If you’ve ever:

  • Felt “too much” or “not enough” in relationships
  • Struggled to balance being strong with being soft
  • Got stuck in cycles of overgiving, overthinking, or overreacting
  • Been told you’re “intimidating,” “clingy,” or “just dramatic”

...then this episode is for you.

Let’s give feminine and masculine energy the modern-day PR makeover it deserves—one GTL moment at a time.

Hey Guys!! Mish here!
If you're like wtf, did I subscribe to this podcast? This is Ask Mish, formally Healthy(ish) with Nutrish Mish. I explain everything in this episode but the Sparknote version is: In my 13+ years helping women lose weight, I have learned in most cases, the problem is rarely just about the food.
I have watched the people I work with not only lose weight, but gain confidence, transform relationships, get the job, and truly live the life they deserve to live. After the 5432nd time someone told me "you should have been a therapist" I decided to expand my impact, and give the ladies of the world my two cents on the things we are all struggling with that prevent us from living our best lives.
In this episode I am giving you a little life update (little mid life crisis survival story). And diving into our very first Ask Mish question which is all about how to be confident and feel good when you genuinely don't.

Ask Mish! - Do I Want to Have a Kid?

Do you want to have kids?

When are you having kids?

Questions that makes most 30 something women feel some type of way. While I never personally found this question offensive, (which I spoke about in the episode), but I always had a really hard time answering that question in a way that felt honest.

If you have ever personally asked me this question, you got a smirk, an eye roll, and a joke about how "there isn't a maternal bone in my body", or something about work, or something about how I still love to party (which i do lol). But that's not how I actually feel. So when I got this question I decided to really think about my answer, and what I came up with, I am probably not alone.

Everyone seems to be talking about the weight loss injectables- and everyone has super strong opinions. There are people who are on it and proud, people who are on them and feel like they are cheating, people who are not on them-but are jealous of those who are, people who would never, and people like me- who just are terrified of needles.

No matter what your stance is, I think there is a bigger conversation to be had here- that is isn’t your fault if you feel like you need them. And it’s ok if you feel like you need them, but I promise you, you don’t. This question was a great opportunity to get on my little soap box and explain, I hope it gets everyone thinking a little differently, DM me on Instagram @MishOfNutrishMish and let me know your thoughts.

Dear Mish,
I am super curious your thoughts on the weight loss medications.

I have struggled with weight most of my life. I was never someone who had a lot of willpower when it comes to food. It’s not that I didn’t want to be healthy or lose weight. I want it so badly, but in the moment, passing up food is so difficult for me. When my Dr. recommended I try Ozempic last year, I jumped on it. When I took it, it literally made me cry. I finally had willpower, the voices in my head that usually screamed at me to eat were gone .

I have lost 60lbs and a part of me is so happy, but the other part of me is terrified. I know if I ever come off of this medication, the weight will just come back. My brain just doesn’t think about food in the same way that normal people do.

Is there something wrong with me? Are there people out there like me who should be on this medication forever? Super curious your thoughts.

SO many people I meet struggle with decisiveness. Honestly, for the longest time I did too. If you aren’t a naturally decisive person, it is so easy to get wrapped up in overthinking, taking too many people’s opinions into consideration, and never feel confident that you know the “right” choice. This week’s question came from someone who had all of the struggles, so I brought my friend Christina Lecuyer on to discuss.
Christina is ALL about being decisive. Her whole brand is based around helping people build decisiveness, & confidence both personally and professionally. From pro golfer to confidence coach, Christina's whole life is literally a masterclass on learning how to make the decisions to get the life you want. Here is this week's question:

Dear Mish (and Christina),

I have always had a hard time making decisions. My indecisiveness causes analysis paralysis and I am constantly second guessing myself. Anyway, at the moment, I have a huge decision I have to make. It involves changing careers, moving, my anxiety is literally through the roof. It truly feels as if there is a right or a wrong decision that I can make here, and I don't know what it is. I keep asking family and friends, and everyone has a different answer, I literally don't know what to do. How do you become a decisive person and overcome analysis paralysis. Please help!

Calorie Deficit has been a trending term used on Tiktok lately as the end all-be all for weight loss success. Let's talk about what it actually means, and when it works.
A Caloric deficit is where you eat less- but with a strategy behind it. To use this concept correctly, you must understand your BMR (basal metabolic rate). This is the number of energy (aka calories) needed to live, the baseline amount of energy for your body to exist and function per day. There are calculators to estimate this online through a simple Google search, but it won't be 100% exact, close enough though.
You will want to consider the calories you are burning for any activity you do for the day (cleaning, walking, gym time, work, etc.), and the calories from your BMR to find the number of calories you need to get from food! When a strategic caloric deficit is introduced, your body can use stored fat (energy) to replace what you didn't eat that day. This is a process that shows results over time, and there may be other health factors at play. We talk all about this in this episode of how to use these numbers to work for the results you are looking for!
