Alchemy For Life

Retooling

It’s been a bit because I’ve been busy exploring different media avenues. In addition to the podcast I’ve been exploring video shorts for Youtube, and small digestible video bites for Instagram and Facebook. So, welcome back! And check them out on my Facebook as well as my Instagram.

Being succinct, overcommunicating

Something a lot of people struggle with is over communicating. The paradox is that they all think they haven’t said enough, but in truth they’ve said to much. The info they were trying to impart turns to static in the mind of the other person. So, more information actually meant less information received. A truly annoying problem. Let’s talk about why this happens and what you can do about it...

The Devil’s in the Details

I’m currently accepting applications for a free read of my new novella – The Devil’s in the Details. You’ll get to read a free copy and be entered to win a paperback copy. There are limited spots so check out the signup form directly, or just go to markbradford.org and click on the Enter the Giveaway on the top menu. There are limited spots available. Once the book is published the contest is over.

Become ceremonious

What is ceremony?

If you look it up you’ll be told it is a “ritual observance or procedure.” Most cases refer to weddings, and that’s good because that’s the example I used in the podcast.

Why do I want more in my life?

You want more if you’re trying to make a habit stick, or something is important to you but know one seems to understand that—including you. In other words you want something to be more important but haven’t been able to figure out how to do that. I get it. I’ve been there.

How do I add more ceremony?

Let’s talk about how you can add more ceremony in your life which will make you feel better in general, make you feel happier, and help you make a habit stick.

undefined - A single breeze…

A single breeze…

Great storms announce themselves with a single breeze, and a single random spark can ignite the fires of rebellion.

Bishop of Aquila – Ladyhawke (1985)

A great quote from one of my all-time favorite movies. You may even say it was an influence on The Sword and the Sunflower.

But that statement really makes you think about a major event, and how it “announces” itself. That tiny spark is a foundation. That foundation, that moment, it can be the beginning of a great thing—good or bad.

  • That moment you know someone was cheating on you
  • That time you figured out what made you happy
  • That second you realized you were going to spend the rest of your life with someone
  • That moment when you saw your child truly excel at something and thought “this is his thing.”
  • That time when you made the connection between you and your best friend to be
  • That moment when you figured out one of life’s mysteries

Let’s talk about when that’s happened in your life, my personal experience with it, and how you can embrace it for the good of your journey.

New book alert.

When a chance meeting with an old man leads to a captivating story, the author is swept into a journey through time and the paranormal. Starting in 1966 at Oxford College, the story follows a professor’s pet project to uncover a message that spans all of written history—a message from the devil himself.

As a subscriber, you’re entitled to read The Devil’s in the Details before it hits the shelves of Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other stores! The book is available on Bookfunnel right now. For free. For you.

I only ask that you review it when it is released this summer. Those that read and review it will be entered into a giveaway to win a physical paperback copy.
