Welcome to Aim Focus Shoot's inaugural episode! I'm so excited to be here in this space, in your ears and sharing what I know.
Whether you’re new to photography or a seasoned photographer, there is something in here for you. Being in business for yourself can be lonely and I know this first hand. I wanted to bring this podcast to your ears to keep you company and to remind you we’re in this together.

I started my photography business in 2020 and I’ve been able to create the photography business of my dreams in a short amount of time, and you can too. Not only do I get to photograph families and weddings, I also get to educate photographers who want to take their business to the next level.

In two short years I’ve been able to create a six figure business I am immensely proud of. I have used a formula of remarkable customer service, a service literally worth making a remark about. This has been central to my success. I’ve shown up even when I don’t want to because I know that my presence is what is creating the connection between me and my ideal client.

If I can start a business and succeed without any prior business experience then you can too.

My four steps from winging it to strategy:

streamline your responses, have templates in notes and your e-mails which outlines what your packages entail and get back to your inquiries quickly to ensure you’re converting your leads into sales - plus confirmation e-mail outlining everything to expect. Map out your client experience.
Think about the goals you want for your business and personal life. Write down your goals using the "I Am" statements.
Think about the client experience you want to offer, if you’re providing the most incredible experience for your clients - one; they will be repeat clients forever, they will become raving fans and tell everyone about you - you will become remarkable, worth making a remark about.
Values for your business- what does your business stand for and what are your values. This is hand in hand with goals - creates more strategy and solidity in your business.
