This week's Luvva Cover is a moving tribute to the tragic figure of Karen Dalton, 50 years after the release of her final album, by Ríoghnach Connolly and The Breath. Karen Dalton wrote poems and lyrics but never had the chance to record one of her own songs - only songs by other song writers. The Breath have taken one of her beautiful lyrics and set it to music - it's stunning!

This week's Luvva Cover is fascinating. A hit single by Lesley Gore in 1963 became an anthem for the second feminist wave. The black, gay artist serpentwithfeet has made a brilliant cover version, melded it with one of his own songs, and placed it full square in a modern context.
