Aesthetically Speaking

We're back today with another branding challenge! This is a little bit of an intimidating challenge for us, specifically for Rebecca, because this brand is for one of the most important people in our lives, which is our mother. And if you've ever designed a brand for your mom, which we’re guessing most of you haven't, you can imagine how stressful it is to try and create something that captures all of them and their unique qualities as an individual and also as your mom into one visual representation. So we’re actually really excited about what came out of this brand, and excited to talk about it.

In this episode Rebecca & Abby share:

  • Who our mom is as a mom, a homemaker, childhood educator and so much more
  • Understanding our mom’s personality and values when creating her brand
  • The importance of selecting the right name for the brand
  • The selection process of the tagline and its significance
  • Deliberation on the font style for the main brand and taglines
  • Strategy for crafting a brand that aligns with our mom’s transitional life phase
  • The significance of the Pinterest mood board and design inspirations
