In 1980, Paul Braxton Fugate was working at the Chiricahua National Monument in southern Arizona, when he told another employee he was going to go on a foot patrol of a nearby hiking trail, but he never returned. While it was initially thought that he got lost and succumbed to the elements, that theory was put by the wayside when sightings of Paul in the car with two men, talks of murder and conspiracies, and two strange letters came forth indicating that he may have been murdered.
