Back in episode 67 we talked you through barley wines. These strong ales were brewed to be stored and aged and modern brewers are doing interesting things with them. This week we take a look at NOT barley wines!
Close relative to the barley wine is the wheat, oat and rye wine and we sample an example of each. How do the different grains change this beer style? Why would brewers use these alternative grains and which do we like best?

In true Vault City fashion they brewed a twist on the recipe creating a pineapple sour pale. It stays true to both the brewery and Brave Noise while still being refreshing, accessible and making a noise for awareness – exactly what we need!
Vendy talks about her experience of brewing the beer and her time at Vault City who are an excellent example of how breweries can get involved with Brave Noise.
