Listen as my mother and I talk about raising chickens, but primarily processing “broiler” chickens for meat. In this episode we talk about the supplies needed and go through all the steps from beginning to end.
Supplies needed:
Sharp knives
Butcher block/stump/cones
Clean processing area
2-gallon freezer bags
Torch
Kettle/bucket/tubs for boiling water and cooling chickens
Hose with nozzle
Rubber, nitrile gloves (optional)
