Dr MacDonald and the Hippies on Acid
This sounds like a Hollywood thriller movie, and even though this tale did
inspire filmmakers, the real-life story is far more unbelievable.
Jeffrey MacDonald was a true crime star of his time. He cemented his celebrity status in the 80s after a bestselling book Fatal Vision was published, followed by a movie of the same title, TV miniseries, and documentaries.
He told a horrifying story of how Charles Manson-style hippies had raided his home and brutally murdered his wife and two daughters.
However, Jeffrey is believed to have his family butchered and he later staged the crime scene to implicate a bloody Manson-like slaughter.
The question which is still up for debate, is whether was he a cold-blooded murderer or a victim of blood-thirsty hippies on acid?
The fact is, that the savage slaying of his wife and daughters left the nation horrified.

Corpsewood Manor - "I Had This Coming"
In the pursuit of an idyllic lifestyle and freedom, a couple from Chicago bought a secluded property, far away from the modern big cities. They wanted to become closer to nature, and be free from prying eyes into their hedonistic lifestyle.
The local legend has it, that the land is haunted by the devil and the souls of the murdered owners. Some people claim to have heard screams or the barking of phantom dogs, as well as to have seen the glowing eyes of two mastiffs... even sometimes shadowy figures roaming, and standing guard over the property.
But why would the land be haunted by the devil, you may ask?
Well... the thing is that the main subject of today’s story, Charles Scudder, was an openly gay member of the Church of Satan, and the property he chose to purchase was located in a small, sleepy town in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia.
Following the murders, some people believed that it was a satanic-related crime. But was it a crazy LSD-fueled kind of black magic ritual or just a robbery justified by prejudice?
