Hello Happy People,
Today Dianne shares her chat with Terreece M. Clarke. It is impossible to spend time speaking with Terreece and not come away in a better mood than when you started the conversation. With a ready smile and a kind word for everyone she meets, it is easy to see how her personality plays into her ability to connect so well with her followers.

Terreece's Courageous Love Series is more proof of her ability to connect with others. At the time of this writing, her first book in the series, Heartbeat, is sitting at number one and number two on two similar Amazon bestseller lists. While this book was released in 2022, it is still gaining traction in the romance reading community. It continues to be mentioned on various romance review book sites as being one of the best books on the market today.

According to several reviews listed on Amazon.com, Heartbeat is a well rounded story that makes the readers laugh out loud, cry, and delivers engaging, sexy characters who readers love. From Terreece's website, she is "passionate about representation, amplifying voices that are often muted, championing small businesses, highlighting workers who make a big business great, and taking on society’s tough topics. We have to model the change we want and share the megaphone so everyone is included."
It is obvious from her stellar reviews and her placement on bestseller lists that her readers appreciate her work and her storytelling. Which makes it all the more amazing that she was not always focused on becoming an author. Terreece started out her college career with the intention to be a broadcast journalist, but quickly found out that the stories she wanted to tell were not the ones she would be assigned. She took a leap of faith in herself and changed her career path. Listen now to hear her story.

Please Note: Some of her books come with trigger warnings. Please visit her website for more information.

Hello Happy People,

We are thrilled to share with you today Dianne's interview with Wealth Management Specialist, Chad Willardson. To say Chad has an impressive background in finance and publishing does not come close to painting an accurate picture of his achievements. He is the President and Founder of Pacific Capital, five-time bestselling author, long-time Certified Financial Fiduciary, and recently launched his latest book, Wealth Wired Differently .

Following the success of his previous bestsellers, Fit for Wealth , Stress Free Money, Beyond the Money, and Smart, Not Spoiled, Wealth Wired Differently dives into essential topics for entrepreneurs navigating the financial landscape and looking for the best advice and strategies available.

It is easy to understand how Chad could write such books when you look at his own entrepreneurial and financial background. Chad was a senior vice president of investments for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management from 2003–2011. He took that experience and used it as a launching pad for his own ventures.

Embracing his entrepreneurial spirit, Chad would go on to create several companies of his own. Besides Pacific Capital, Chad is the Co-founder and Board Member of GravyStack and the Founder and President of Platinum Elevated.

Through his businesses, Chad manages more than $1.4 billion in investments, offering specialized services to high-net-worth entrepreneurs. As successful as he is in the field, Chad has first-hand knowledge of what it is like for an entrepreneur to take great financial risks to build a company from concept to a lucrative enterprise. Don't wait, go listen now to learn more about Chad and his work.

Trigger Warning: bleeped words, m*urder and k!lled.
Hello Happy People,

Today Dianne gets to share her chat with bestselling author, Sheila Lowe. She has made a very successful career for herself involving the written word, but not how you might think. Long before she published her first book, Sheila was a respected forensic handwriting analyst.

Sheila’s interest in handwriting analysis began while she was still in high school. She followed her interests and even developed her expertise further by becoming certified as a forensic document examiner.

This newly expanded set of qualifications allows her to testify in court as an expert witness. For many, this would be a satisfying career, but Sheila wanted more. She returned to college earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Psychology. These credentials solidified her worth as an expert witness.

Even with a successful career as a handwriting examiner, Sheila was interested in finding other creative avenues where she could make use of her talents. She decided to branch out to explore the opportunities that come with being a published author. Besides her fiction and nonfiction works, Sheila has also published a memoir about how her life changed after the m*rder of her daughter.

Book Banter with Dianne Burckhardt - Book Talk Podcast - S3 EP 147: Mary Martha Greene, Cookbook Author of The Cheese Biscuit Queen Tells All

Hello Happy People,
Mary Martha Greene is not a cookbook author by profession. It's a passion project inspired by family traditions and a desire to honor the women who created them. It also gives her a change of pace from her day job. Growing up, Mary was heavily influenced by her family. She spent a lot of time by her grandmother’s side when she was in the kitchen. Watching the women in her family, Mary dreamed of doing something creative for her career. Mary loved to cook and bake and considers her return to the kitchen as a homecoming of sorts.
Her father was a family court judge and was very involved in politics. Her father would have a great influence on Mary's future. After returning home at the end of her first semester of college — where she was studying business at her father's suggestion — Mary was informed she would soon be reporting to the state house to be a page. From that moment, her career path was virtually set.
It would be many years before Mary found herself taking the time to get creative in the kitchen again. She credits yet another family member for inspiring her move to become a cookbook author. Her second oldest goddaughter was getting ready to go off for a semester at sea, but she had a request before she left. She wanted her aunt Mae-Mae to teach her how to cook.
As Mary began to search for the family recipes, other people came forward to request a copy of her collection for themselves. Mary started to consider taking her project to a wider audience. On a whim she suggested to a friend to ask the University of South Carolina Press if they would be interested in publishing her cookbook ... they were.
Don't wait, go listen now to all the amazing personal stories behind this cookbook. Then check out Book Banter Magazine for her free holiday recipe.

We usually play "The Best of" shows from the season that is ending, but this year we are bringing you interviews we recorded live at the Frankfurter Buchmesse in Frankfurt, Germany. Parragon Publishing India

Their line of products not only includes everything from activity books and storybooks to branded merchandise like DisneyTM, MarvelTM, BarbieTM, and more. Frankfurter BuchmesseTo learn more about the worlds largest publishing convention, check out the link above.
Enjoy,
Dianne and the Book Banter Productions Crew
PLEASE NOTE: these interviews are all recorded live on the convention floor. There is of course background noise due to the numerous amount of convention goers around us. We did our best to clean up the sound for you. We are looking into new technology to bring you even better sound next year. These are also minimally edited just to clean up the sound.

Hello Happy People,
In today's episode, Dianne is joined by international bestselling author of the Aoife (pronounced EE-fuh) Walsh books, Val Collins. The books in this collection are psychological thrillers and will keep you guessing until the very last page.
Val has been an avid reader since she began at age three. She tried writing as a child, but her perfectionism stopped her from exploring it. As she grew up, life took a different turn for her career wise and it wasn't until an economic crash in Ireland left Val unemployed that she returned to writing.
Now an international bestselling author, Val currently has four titles available in her Aoife Walsh book collection: Girl Targeted, Only Lies Remain, The Silent Speak, and Where Loyalties Lie. Her fifth Aoife Walsh book, Dying To Tell, is set to be released Feb. 28th.
