Welcome to A Beginner's Guide to Design Thinking, the perfect podcast for curious souls eager to harness the power of design thinking to level up their business and personal life.

Join your hosts - Lucy Patterson and Tracy Sharp - two Northern lasses passionate about helping people like you disrupt the status quo. We’re here to boost your business performance while reigniting your zest for life. No "but we've always done it that way" excuses allowed!

We'll guide you through the process of figuring out what you want, experimenting with how to get it, and embracing failure as a stepping stone to success. You’ll learn how to apply those lessons, tweak your approach, and keep evolving - all while keeping it fun, and scientifically backed. It might get a little messy - but not crayon-on-your-sweater messy!

From our own experiences and expertise - failures included - we’ll make sure you never feel alone on this creative journey.
So let us hold your hand as you empower yourself with design thinking, getting closer to your goals without the frustration.

Once you’ve finished listening, we have two small requests:

  1. If you enjoy the show, please leave us a review on your favorite podcast platform. (If not, shoot us an email and let us know how we can improve.)
  2. Reach out! Send us an email or connect via LinkedIn to share what actions you’ve taken from any of our episodes. We bloody love action-takers! 🙂

With Intent is a podcast from ID where we talk to a range of people—writers, designers, business strategists, policymakers, doctors, community organizers. The common thread? Whether they self-identify as designers or not, they're using design in their work.

Brighten your day – learn about user experience, design, products, gaming and technology. With entertaining and funny chat that goes off on unexpected tangents about life, everyday pain points and hilarious solutions.

80% random, 20% user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI)*

Your hosts Mark, Nick and Paul discuss a different subject around design, UX, UI, business and technology, with the occasional special guest thrown in for good measure.

Ironically as Henry Ford almost definitely did not say: “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” – we try and put the user back into the experience.

Learn from industry leaders about their experiences and how to deal with them.

We'll dip into the UX tombola to pick out a random hot topic to discuss, poke and prod.

Saddle up and join us for the wild ride of humour, experience and sound-proofing cushions that is Faster Horses.

*may contain nuts and the odd bit of swearing – sorry (not sorry!).

24 Minutes of UX is a podcast of the people, by the people, for the people. The format is a combination of an after-work discussion, a 1-on-1 chat, a global community platform, and a coaching session. Episodes typically feature a Seeker and a Giver. The Seeker is a person seeking advice on a specific topic within the domain of UX. The Giver is here for sharing experiences about “what I wish I had known when I started with this topic”. Both the Seeker and the Giver can be senior or junior - we all learn all the time. Topics can be Measurement, Personas, DesignOps, Stakeholder Management, Design Leadership, Agile, Hiring, Forms, Research, Tools. You name it. The podcast is a global, grassroots, community-driven initiative and we welcome your participation. You can sign up at 24minutesofux.com to be a Seeker or a Giver - we will do our best to match you with someone interested in your topic. 24 Minutes of UX is the brainchild of Jesse Anton and Peter Horvath, creators of the 24 Hours of UX event series. Jesse and Peter are your hosts as we strive to create tighter links between people in the UX diaspora, enabling us all to become better UXers in the process. There are plenty of people in the trenches of UX with something to say, and this podcast is an open forum where diverse and fresh voices can be heard. Thanks for subscribing, and we look forward to welcoming you on the air one day. Until then, Keep Calm and UX On!
