Hi, I'm Jeffrey and I am a Feldenkrais Method and Kinēsa practitioner. Feldenkrais and Kinesa are somatic practices that focus primarily on helping people become aware of the invisible, habitual choices they make. What we don't know we're doing is where the gold is. Through experimentation, you can find new and better choices. We use movement as the primary vehicle for exploration. But why movement? People are numb and disconnected from their bodies. Movement is connected with and influences thinking and emotional patterns. The ability to move well deeply affects the quality of a person's life. Learning through somatic movement processes is fun, mind-expanding, and always a new adventure.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, many female millennial entrepreneurs are chasing success, juggling multiple responsibilities, and striving to make an impact—all while feeling the weight of stress and overwhelm. For these women, mastering their emotional landscape is not just a want; it’s a need for personal fulfillment and professional success. A Millennial's Guide to Healthy Emotional Regulation in Life and Business is here to support those women who are tired of burnout and are seeking real tools to help them achieve emotional mastery.

This podcast is your go-to resource for navigating the emotional ups and downs of entrepreneurship while maintaining balance and calm amid chaos. It's the show for you if you're a female millennial entrepreneur trying to thrive in business without sacrificing your mental well-being. Emotional regulation is the key, achieved through movement, meditation, mindfulness, and more.

Why Emotional Regulation Matters for Female Millennial Entrepreneurs

Female millennial entrepreneurs face unique challenges in today’s business landscape. Many wear multiple hats: creator, leader, innovator, mom, and partner. While building their businesses, these women often confront pressure from external expectations and internal self-criticism. They balance business growth with personal lives, often neglecting their own needs in the process. The constant hustle can leave them overwhelmed, stressed, and on the verge of burnout.

Emotional regulation—the ability to effectively manage and respond to emotional experiences—is critical for long-term success. Whether handling the stress of scaling a business, dealing with difficult clients, or managing the internal battles of imposter syndrome, emotional mastery allows these entrepreneurs to stay grounded, make better decisions, and cultivate resilience.

The host, Jayna Swan, empowers incredible women to embrace their emotions rather than avoid or suppress them. By practicing self-awareness, integrating daily movement, and using mindfulness and meditation techniques, listeners will learn how to transform emotional challenges into opportunities for growth, creativity, and clarity.

We explore topics that will:

  • Unlock Emotional Mastery: Discover how to shift from reaction to response and move from a state of overwhelm to one of control. We break down emotional regulation techniques that are simple yet effective, such as mindful breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and the practice of mind-body connection through movement.
  • Embrace Self-Care & Self-Love: Learn how prioritizing your emotional well-being is key to your business growth. By practicing self-compassion and reframing negative thought patterns, you will develop an unshakable sense of self-worth, which translates into success and leadership.
  • Move with Purpose: Through movement—whether it's yoga, dance, or even a daily walk—you can process emotions and release tension from the body. Physical activity is essential in maintaining emotional balance, and we’ll discuss the science behind how movement can enhance emotional regulation.
  • Create Healthy Boundaries: Building a business can sometimes blur the lines between personal and professional life. We explore how to set and maintain healthy boundaries to protect your emotional and mental well-being, ensuring you can thrive in all areas of life without burning out.
  • Gratitude & Mindset Shifts: We’ll teach you how to use gratitude as a powerful emotional regulation tool. By shifting your mindset from scarcity to abundance, you can transform how you approach your business's challenges, setbacks, and successes.

My name is Brady Ryan and I am a sea salt farmer on San Juan Island in Washington State. Ever since I was a child I have felt like my main skill was not that I was smarter or stronger or harder working or braver than anyone else, I was just a little more curious than the average cat. Since becoming a parent and trying to be a good husband and small business owner have taken so much of my energy and attention, I feel like this one superpower I have has fallen by the wayside. This podcast is my attempt to rediscover curiosity through conversation and contemplation. I will be alternating conversations with guests one episode with a short musing of my own the next. The musing episodes will allow me to try to explore ideas that I've heard or that I've come up with in an open ended way. My theory is that exploration is worth much more than answers and hopefully the interviews and the musings can live up to that principle.

A maths teacher can be creative. So can a financial adviser, a community builder, and a yoga teacher. Not to mention a speed painter, a potter, or an actor! Creativity is everywhere and I love nothing more than to explore it in my podcast, either by focusing on a theme – such as perfectionism, feeding your creative brain, or the pressure to be creative – in my solo episodes, or through my conversations will all manner of creative people. With The Creativity for All Podcast, I am keen to challenge the perception of creativity and, in the process, debunk many myths attached to it: it's painful, for artists and the chosen few, etc. My guests and I are keen to zoom in and dissect the origin of an idea, the impulse that makes us engage with our own creativity, with the hope that it will inspire you to get creative too. My podcast is designed for anyone who’s already being creative, or is tempted to use their creativity, in particular those of you who think they are not creative or can never be. I would love to change your mind! So join me, every other Monday, as I explore and celebrate the many forms of day-to-day creativity. The Creativity for All Podcast is sponsored by Blue as an Orange, where we believe in creativity through communication, and offer mentoring and coaching for aspiring writers, and tailored language tuition for individuals and companies.

Albert Einstein is quoted saying, “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” In this podcast we will explore our curious questions as we unpack these curiosities through the lens of Scripture and our Christian faith. Through thoughtful and engaging interviews with neighbors, pastors, and experts, we will walk through some common, and even challenging, questions while valuing individual perspectives along the way. Perhaps these curious conversations will spark the same holy curiosity in you.

Une mine d’or.

Each person on this planet is weird, unique and relatable in the most fascinating ways. Host MacGyver Mann interviews these people and make you feel like you know them even though you have never met them or heard of them.
They start the episode by reading a short autobiography from each other and then dive into the things about who makes them who they are: their memories, histories, relationships, past traumas, therapy sessions, pursuit of happiness, and everything that makes a person tick.
At the beginning you will feel like you want to ask, "Sorry, who are you?" and by the end you will say goodbye to a friend.
