Hip-Hop Hidden Gems is all about celebrating the music that has shaped a generation (or two). This bi-weekly podcast, hosted by TheMoJoKing & Willie Freeman (AKA Vision) will focus on the artforms undervalued and underappreciated. Each episode will be dedicated to a song that didn't receive it's proper shine upon its initial release. Mo and Willie will revisit each track, and discuss its strengths and weaknesses. They also will provide interesting tidbits of information about the songs and the artists behind the music.
For hardcore hip-hop fans HHHG will provide a sense of nastalgia.
For more modest fans HHHG may be a chance to learn something new.
But for all hip hop fans HHHG will be a celebration. Come party with us.

Bad Band Great Song is a music critique show that explores what critique means and how it affects us... while also doing the thing. But it's primarily a show about Bad Bands who happen to have Great Songs. In each season we look at a collection of bands and some hallmark songs of theirs. We then, in each episode, tell the band's story, discuss the key song's creation and relevance, analyze and assess how the band may be considered bad, and finally, we declare that a song of theirs is great. And we defend that. Disagreement is encouraged.

For generations, Ireland has had a culture and reputation for a good "sing song", be it the sorrow of a funeral, the the joy of a wedding, the roller-coaster build up and fall of a GAA match day, a pub lock in and everything in between.

While we may hear the same songs belted or butchered, we probably don't know the meaning of many of them.

In the podcast, I try to get an understanding of some of these songs, not only the the heavy hitters but some perhaps lesser known and personal favourites from folk ballads to rebel songs.

Welcome to The Library! These great halls are filled with the stories of our world's great musical minds, from the masters across ancient civilizations to the champions of our digital age. In this library, Menken, Powell, Zimmer, and Williams share shelves with Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Wagner, and the tales of composers not as widely known are told with the same enthusiasm as their famous colleagues. Our Curator, Stephen Trygar, invites you to explore this wonderous library with him one masterpiece at a time.

Come one, come all, to this tragic affair, and subscribe here for the best music show in your podcast library. Hosted by Blake Murphy and Jake Goldsbie, Columbia House Party is your home for Riots and Black Parades, Cork Trees and Significant Others. At times it will showcase the very finest the music industry had to offer, often around the pop-punk and emo boom of the early-to-mid 2000s. At its worst, it will indulge in those forgotten records we all have lurking in our collection. All the while, it promises to provide the information, entertainment and self-deprecation you’ve come to expect from two of Toronto’s favourites. Welcome to our living mixtape.
