Hello, we are Brad and Denise, a Canadian couple who enjoy talking about True Crime. As a truck driver, I have listened to a ton of podcasts. Most cases I listen to, are only in North America. I wanted to teach Denise about True Crime as well as expand and learn about new cultures and laws by traveling around the world. We release every second Wednesday, taking turns on who reads them.
Two best friends who live on opposite sides of the world spend their weekly catch-ups putting their Gigglemugs together about any interesting topic under the sun, and having a right old chuckle.

Every scandal begins with a lie. But the truth will come out. And then comes the fallout and the outrage.
Scandals have shaped America since its founding. From business and politics to sports and society, we look on aghast as corruption, deceit and ambition bring down heroes and celebrities, politicians and moguls. And when the dust finally settles, we’re left to wonder: how did this happen? Where did they trip up, and who is to blame? From the creators of American History Tellers, Business Wars and Tides of History comes American Scandal, where we take you deep into the heart of America’s dark side to look at what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they’re caught. Hosted by Lindsay Graham.
Need more American Scandal? With Wondery+, enjoy exclusive seasons, binge new seasons first, and listen completely ad-free. Start your free trial in the Wondery App, Apple Podcasts, Spotify or visit wondery.app.link/IM5aogASNNb now.

Every weekday, host Lindsay Graham (American Scandal, American History Tellers) takes you back in time to explore a momentous event that happened ‘on this day’ in history. Whether it’s to remember the tragedy of December 7th, 1941, the day “that will live in infamy,” or to celebrate that 20th day in July, 1969, when mankind reached the moon, History Daily is there to tell you the true stories of the people and events that shaped our world—one day at a time. So if you’re stuck in traffic, bored at work—wherever you are, listen to History Daily to remind yourself that something incredible happened to make that day historic.

For fans of story driven, narrative, history!
More and more we are hearing about pastors and ministry leaders that feel like they just don’t fit the mold of what American Church culture expects them to be, expects them to look like, preach like, and even think like. We wanted to make a podcast for ministers dealing with the current social and cultural issues here in the US and the Church. We will look at these things through CSRM’s 3 tier paradigm of Theological Truths, Philosophical Principles, and Methodological Models. Hopefully, to help us all regain perspective and regain some sanity. Support this podcast: www.patreon.com/ministrymisfits

The streets of wartime London are pitch black and the darkness offers cover to a murderer every bit as terrible as Jack the Ripper. During one awful week in February 1942 he viciously attacks women night after night. But the victims of the so-called Blackout Ripper are now all but forgotten.
In this season of Bad Women, historian Hallie Rubenhold and criminologist Alice Fiennes share new details from the archives to tell the extraordinary and moving stories of the women who died and why their deaths were swept from view.
And don't miss season one of Bad Women about a cold case like no other. In the fall of 1888, five women were brutally murdered in the slums of London. But everything you think you know about Jack the Ripper and those murdered women is wrong. Hallie reconstructs the lives of the five victims - revealing the appalling treatment they faced as women in the 1880s, and completely overturning the accepted Ripper story.

Are history podcasts based on accurate historical research?
Many history podcasts strive to be based on accurate historical research. Reputable history podcasters conduct thorough research, consulting scholarly works, primary sources, and expert opinions to ensure the factual integrity of their content.
