Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

Paul Richmond is a high school educator, coach & entrepreneur. His philosophy is simple: teach by example, be curious and continually expand comfort zones though lessons outside of the classroom walls. Matt Hufnagel is a high energy entrepreneur who believes the foundation to success and good decision making is built on his four pillars of: Truth, Meaning, Trade-Offs, and Perspective. He believes that chasing happiness is a road to failure and happiness is in the journey.

Why did you get into podcasting?

We both enjoy meeting people, learning about them and conversing with them.

How did the idea for the show come about?

Based on all of our phone conversations. We decided we should record them and invite others on the share their stories as well.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

That everyone's journey is different. When listening to the success of others, takes something from it that inspires you and keep moving.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Syncing our times with our guests. We have consistently published weekly shows so the earlier in the week we record, the less stressful it is.

How can your listeners support your show?

They can subscribe. We are going to add extra content and access to ourselves here: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/anecdotesforsuccess/subscribe

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

We are working towards multi-week episodes.

Anything else you'd like to share?

Remember not to chase happiness, realize that the journey is the happiness.
