Ep. 44: "Tikkun Olam" - Yogi Roth pays tribute to his late mom on Mother's Day weekend

Mother's Day is a time to celebrate moms, but we know for many people this holiday can also carry a sense of sadness, loneliness and nostalgia. In honor of anyone facing and grieving the loss of their own mom, Yogi Roth joins the show to pay tribute to his late mother, Devorah Channah Roth.

Yogi is an on-air college football analyst, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, and New York Times best-selling author. But in this conversation, he is a grateful son sharing some remarkable stories about the incredible woman who raised him.

Together with Ashley in Los Angeles, Yogi describes his mom's journey as the daughter of Holocaust survivors and how she lived and embraced the Hebrew term Tikkun Olam, which means "repair the world."

Yogi's words remind us that even if when a mother is no longer with us in a physical sense, her love and light can live on forever through her children.
