HEY!!! Get your Country out of my Death Metal! NO! You get your Death Metal out of my Country!!! XRadioXer's it's time for Episode 22: The One Where Song Titles Are Disgusting. To be fair the Country song titles aren't disgusting but we needed a catchy title so cut us a break.
In this episode we'll discuss, poke fun at and flat out laugh at some of these song titles. Its just Matt and Jayce riffin and having fun on this one. Be warned though... Some of these Metal song titles we bring up aren't going to be fun to explain to your kids, parents and maybe significant other so consider yourself warned. We also throw some love to our podcast friends and that's about it for this one.
This episode is pretty close to what a radio program would be with us if we actually still worked at a college radio station.

It's the Season 3 opener and we invited our old radio pal Spike Chiquet to come on the show and talk about stuff. And boy did we talk about stuff. Here is a short synopsis of what we talked about...

He provided child labor to his employers to work his first radio job
He was once just Spike until a secret non-family member told him to say his last name in French cause radio people have two names
He has worked with at least one former WWF wrestler with the name Booger in his name
He likes to brew beer and has built his own Keezer
His FCC license was stamped before Jayce graduated High School and Jayce is plenty older than Spike
He's not a leader of a French Biker Gang like his radio name would suggest, but there is full disclosure about that in the disclaimer
You all need to know the proper way to say 90 is nine-tee. Just ask the folks at Public Radio 90.

All of these things are basically true and you'll have to listen to find out exactly how much I may have exaggerated in this description.

In this episode we reconnect with our old radio pal Empyre! Yes folks he only has one name not unlike other musical stars like Bono, Edge or Cher. We sit and chat about old radio programs on WUPX he was part of, mix tapes and his pet project Sample The Martian. We discuss how he got his radio name and if you're from the Mid-Michigan area you will appreciate it and spoiler alert... it has NOTHING to do with Star Wars.
