It’s Episode 16 and XRadioX is officially old enough to drive! We were going to have a sweet sixteen party for XRadioX but due to certain restrictions we had to cancel. We had a punch ready to serve, those fancy little sausages in a crock pot and some puppy chow to send home with guests. I mean what is a sweet sixteen without puppy chow!?! Matt and I had even rented the Dumb & Dumber replica tuxedos for the occasion. But whatever... We’ll get over it.
So instead of all that we decided to do a covers episode to help cope with our disappointment. We talk some of our favorite covers from artists like Ash, The Pet Shop Boys, The Jim Carrol Band, Garth Brooks, Loggins and Messina, Paul Simon, Elvis, David Bowie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Bay City Rollers, John Denver and a few others. The one tie that binds these all is they are songs we either played in our days at Radio X or would’ve definitely played at the good old X.
