We live in the past 24/7 and we're total frauds. But isn't that what rock n' roll is all about - pretending you're someone else? Wouldn't it be cool if bands made videogames where they made you think you ARE the band? It was the 90's, we all did some weird stuff. And no one was weirder than that 2D, hip-hop hero from the original Playstation, "Parappa the Rapper". He's had an anime series, a spinoff, been part of a battle royale, and for over 25 years this dog has been laying down phat rhymes and even phatter button combos. But why is this dog rapping? Shouldn't he be humping a leg or sniffing another dog's butt? On today's bussin episode, we chat about the meteoric rise and controversial decline of hip-hop and gaming's most notorious dawg.
