In this episode Kyra and Woz go over Kyra's visit to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Unlike our other episodes, in this episode we will not be revealing spoilers. Kyra will go over her top three films in order of her personal ranking, (1) Ghost Light, (2) A Different Man, and (3) Pony Boy. Kyra will briefly touch on the plots of the movies and what she felt about each film. In this week's episode Kyra and Woz take the show on the road and travel to Woz's hometown of Lynn, Massachusetts to promote Woz's book Hodge Podge.

Kyra will interview Woz, the Librarian who scheduled the event and numerous people in the audience. You'll hear from Woz's old friend Noel Mallett and Kyra's sisters, (Arianna and Gabriella), who came to show support for the podcast. The Librarian will share some interesting information about the library and her personal experiences. Woz will read a part from one of the short stories in the book entitled Hanging Up The Helmet and give his thoughts on what inspired him to write it. We will be going over the similarities and differences between this version of Hellraiser compared to the 1987 movie that is a cult classic. We will be going over the new look of Pinhead and the Cenobites and which version Woz and Kyra like better. We will be discussing the character development of both the main characters from the 1987 version and the 2022 version. What Clive Barker brings out in his books and how he transfers into onto the big screen. Can the box be put into other movies and if so which movie or show would Kyra and Woz like to see the box appear. How the plot from both movies is based on arrogance and how and why the characters who summon the box are similar in their wants and desires. Who are the real villains in these movies?

Murder! Why Yes, I'll Have A Double!

In this weeks episode Kyra takes over the lead mic as her and Woz cover not one, but two movies. First they will go over Knives Out, a star studded murder mystery. The death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is suspicious to say the least. Enter Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) who must sift through all of the Thrombey family disfunction and get to the bottom of Harlans death and find out why he gave all his fortune to his nursing aid Marta Cabrera (Ana de Armas) and not his family. Did Marta kill Harlan and if not who did? Was it any of this all star cast that was assembled: Jaime Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Chris Evans. Toni Collette, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, Riki Lindhome or any of the other stars that appear in this film? We'll get to the bottom of this question and more in the weeks episode.

We'll continue our episode with this second Rian Johnson whodunnit, Knives Out: Glass Onion. Kyra and Woz help peel away the layers of this mystery. Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is invited to attend a murder mystery by Tech Billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton}, however, the party turns deadly when it appears someone is trying to murder Bron for real! In this star studded sequel who could be plotting to kill Bron? Could it be Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monae, Ethan Hawke, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr. or any of the other stars who are part of the layers that need to be peeled away to get to the heart of this mystery and expose a killer.
