14. Vulnerability & The Gifts of Imperfection

When we expose ourselves and our vulnerability no one can expose or hurt us.
There is so much love, connection, power, freedom, truth, authenticity and resilience to be found on the other side of vulnerability.
In this episode I share my experience and learnings from vulnerability and how it’s helped me to free myself to be myself and receive more love and connection.
I share a vulnerable story of my own when I became a mother for the first time, we were living in a tiny house and my husband was in his words “lost”.
This was the hardest time in my life BUT it had a powerful purpose to break me out of the unhealthy trap of perfectionism.
Perfectionism made me think that vulnerability was a weakness but now I know the truth that vulnerability is courage. It’s courageous to share your imperfections, your truth, your heart and pain. It’s courageous to ask for help.
Vulnerability makes us human and connects us all and helps us build resilience.
We are all in this together and the more vulnerable we are the less alone we feel.
