Women Empower Wednesdays - Building Success Brick by Brick with Cassandra Haavisto
play

11/15/23 • 37 min

In this episode of The Women Empower Podcast, host Bri Logue welcomes Cassandra Haavisto, a prominent figure in the real estate industry and leader at Northwest Select Real Estate Services. Cassandra shares her inspiring journey, beginning with purchasing a house at 21 and adopting two children as a single parent at 23. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own company at 40, following two decades of experience in real estate. The company, primarily managing small apartment buildings for high-net-worth families and smaller partnerships, is also known for its "Inspire Hope" program, aimed at fostering community impact through modest contributions.

Cassandra's involvement in philanthropy is a significant highlight of the conversation. Alongside her boyfriend, she has raised over $275,000 for charity, ingeniously using their mutual passion for motorcycles to engage friends and family in fundraising efforts. The podcast delves into Cassandra's business acumen, particularly the challenges she faced in team management, such as replacing her entire team within a 60-day span. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, being adaptable, and the necessity of connecting emotionally in sales. Her insights into the housing market, predicting stabilization rather than aggressive growth, underscore her expertise in real estate.
