96. Budgeting Bliss (a true story)
09/10/23 • 44 min
In this episode Sara grills Julie on how she went from budgeting disaster to master of spending plans.
They have a really frank discussion about what went wrong for Julie when she's tried budgeting in the past. Why as much as she loves apps, they just didn't work for her. She'd get disheartened and give up. Plus, like some of you, she thought what's the point? There's enough coming in to pay for everything. Do you really need a budget?
Find out what changed and how she's now found a way to create a spending plan she can stick to.
One to watch out for is the struggle of categorising Amazon expenses and navigating the ever-changing landscape of digital purchasing.
Ultimately, nailing monthly spending has left Julie spending her money on what truly matters to her and improving her overall well-being.
💰 Since recording, Julie went and checked her takeaway/coffee spend from 2022 - £230 per month.
