In 1901, an enormous creature kidnapped a farm girl of Marble Falls, Texas. What occurred to her would be a story of terror and triumph leading to the discovery of something the small town's residents never saw. Was it a wild man, a bear, or possibly a Bigfoot?

A hunter, distracted by a personal matter, strays from the path, and finds himself too close to the East Cascade Mountain Range. Before he can turn around, he spots what he thinks is the biggest bear he's ever laid eyes on. Unfortunately, the creature he kills is a young sasquatch.

This spurs a break in a century old truce between men and the race of ancient Bigfoot on the other side of the mountain range. What results is a town in danger with citizens fighting for their lives.

Holly Rae and Ryan Garcia have collaborated to bring the beginning of an altercation that mixes the lore of Bigfoot with horror for a fun read that will leave you wanting more.

Join Gary as he interviews the couple to find out how they decided to work together, how the idea of Bigfoot can be terrifying in unusual circumstances, and how difficult it can be for people to live in harmony with nature. We also learn some tidbits on what goes behind writing horror stories and plans for future novels.

Salem has a long history with witches and witchcraft as the site of the infamous trials of the late 1600s. Since those dark times, the town has grown to embrace people of all walks of life and is a popular tourist location, especially during the Halloween season. In fact, the town can be quite crowded during the holidays.

So, Gary and GoldieAnn thought we would bring a little bit of that Salem magic to you with one of the town's premier street ambassadors, Borah Brewington Snaggletooth XIII. This cranky, green-skinned witch is a positive, entertaining, and sometimes mischievous witch that roams the streets year-round and especially during October. Borah can be found spreading magic, engaging with people, and officiating weddings.

Join Gary and GoldieAnn as they take a walk Within the Mist to meet with Brian "BORAH!" Sims to talk about the rich history, but most importantly, the Salem of today. Perhaps we can even convince them to share some of their poetry so as they say "Hop on your broomstick and let's see where they carry us."

During two weeks in 1944, the small town of Matton, Illinois would fall under the paralyzing fear of a creature or madman capable of releasing a sickly sweet gas into their homes. The victims would become unable to move and at the complete mercy of the assailant.

The mystery was never solved and many of the local government would claim that it never happened.

Chet's Melody Lounge is located across the road from Resurrection Cemetery where the locals come together to have a few drinks, listen to loud music, and discuss some of their favorite stories.

The popular ones are all remarkably similar. It consists of a young man out on the town for a night of dancing and drinking. Along the side of the road is walking a stunning young woman, with whom he asks if she needs a ride. She agrees and climbs into the front seat of the car with the driver. She asks to be taken to Archer Road.

However, just as they reach the street and approach Resurrection Cemetery, located on it. He turns to the young woman to find that she has vanished, leaving no trace that she was ever there.

Drivers along Archer Avenue have described similar inexplicable encounters during the last eighty years. All involving the same young woman in a white dress and dancing shoes who seems flesh and bone until she vanishes and reveals that you have met a ghost.
