I had the pleasure of talking to Donny @realdonnywood and Quin @swolemite from @knowthatpod (I missed you Anthony @anthonyfcasella ) and I enjoyed every minute! We start out talking about Donny and what should be his creative partnership with Kleenex because he certainly had me fooled (I even called my mom and told her about a new product) and how I need to read FULL captions. Then we ski from my kitchen right into Salt Lake City realizing that there really IS something about Mary. We talk who would win between Mary and Jen in a face off (Jens recent tweets not considered), Mary's son making it rain on his girl with gifts and how you can't just give dogs as gifts to everyone! And we speculate on the relationships of these women in real life (Heather accurately read Jen who can be a nightmare dressed like a daydream), Meredith and Mary's friendship and the confidence we see in Mary behind the pulpit and the celebrity family that Mary looks like (I will never unsee it!) We talk about the audience's reaction to RHOSLC and the ranking it gets among longer established franchises, the big push it got long before it premiered, how we still wish for Tinsley and a Real Housewives of Chicago franchise (she bossed up at the RHONY reunion vs Dorinda) and how Vicky and Nene left on a low.
And we end the podcast Zooming right back into my Maryland based kitchen and RHOP.
We talk about the reunion and what may be the smoking gun to implicate the Green Eyed Bandits (I couldn't take it if that was the case), the rumor that Gizzy allegedly tried to bring to the camera and the two super-heroes that Gizelle and Monique looked like at a "friendship" lunch (AMAZING), the Monique and Candiace fight (I still love you guys-through gritted teeth) and we end touching on the one and only Bad Girls Club (which sent me down a bad girls rabbit hole later that evening.)
Even though we don't always agree on Cherry Blossoms, Donny and Quin will ALWAYS be a major yes for me: KNOW THAT!

This episode finds Amanda and I talking about RHOP and the way Bravo viewers are watching, the Ashley Amnesia and some of the hypocrisy's that exist in our housewives world. Then we talk Salt Lake City and Jen Shah (she's...a lot), Meredith and Mary, Lisa and Mary and...us and Mary! There REALLY is just something about Mary! And we break down tithing and offerings in a church like Mary's, the Catholic Church donation envelopes, Pastors that don't take a vow of poverty because it is not required and the very real fact that pastors do get paid for for speaking and working outside of the church and may be using their own money to fund their lavish lives.
Talking to Amanda is always like a refreshing reset and brings up perspectives that I had not considered. My conversations with Amanda are ALWAYS what's happening!

I am excited to talk to @karabgrams from the Instagram account @everyonesbusinessbutmine and host of the Everyone's Business But Mine podcast! Kara is hilarious, quick, has the BEST voice and her takes are dead on! We start out talking Southern Charm and RHOA and how the burden of educating falls on the People of Color to have all of these heavy conversations (particularly Southern Charm when they have other cast mates to call things out) and we wonder if franchises WITHOUT People of Color will have any real conversations. Then we continue on with the Peaches and talk episode one of RHOA! First, we touched on Kenya Moore on the Wendy Williams show (she said Tanya & Porsha brought the WAP), Marlo and the side we don't often see, Porsha and Kenya's continuing drama and the Instagram like that may have caused it. And we wonder, "Is Porsha the new HBIC??" Andy seems to think so.
Then we jump head first into RHOP! We talked Gizelle's confessional after Jamal missed the pictures (I felt that deeply), Monique's therapy session and how we identify, Ashley and why people forget just how messy she truly is and wonder if she is in it for Michale's reported net worth (I had no idea) and Candiace and Ms. Dorothy (Candiace seems to now have Dorothy's attention).
Finally, we get into Juan and Robyn and there are questions (the streets say Juan has an entire other relationship), Michael's fascination with Juan (stranger danger) and his reaction to Juan and Robyn's engagement, Ashley and her plays to the camera and the finale fireworks that had us cheering Chris Bassett and watching Michael's display of sickening amounts of privilege!
Kara is so awesome and I enjoyed talking about everyone else's business...and not mine!
