86: Lost integrity, neutral venues and rubbish Rice rumours
05/06/20 • 62 min
The latest is that West Ham are among six Premier League clubs who are against the Premier League's proposals to play the remainder of the season behind closed doors and at neutral venues, which is quite understandable given what's at stake in the battle to stay in the top-flight.
That forms the bulk of the conversation this week, while we also spent much of the episode discussing some of the biggest talking points from our exclusive feature-length interview with club legend Tony Cottee, who very kindly spent almost two hours chatting all things West Ham with James Jones and Will Pugh earlier this week.
If you haven't already done so, make sure you go back and listen to that bonus episode where Cottee talks to the boys in-depth about the board, Declan Rice, his Hammers career and, of course, some of his best memories of that 1985/86 season.
And finally, as always, we end the show with the West Ham Mystery Players Quiz, where it's getting very tense heading into the final few weeks of the season. Can Will level the scores and put even more pressure on James? You'll have to listen to find out.

85: TONY COTTEE SPECIAL - bonus full length EXCLUSIVE interview
With 146 goals for West Ham over two spells at the club, Tony Cottee is undoubtedly one of the Hammers' greatest ever strikers.
A club icon who continues to fly the claret and blue flag in his media work as a well known and well liked Sky Sports News pundit.

Cottee joins Will Pugh and James Jones to chat all things West Ham from his time at the club, the gut wrenching departures, his recent brain hemorrhage, David Moyes, Declan Rice, the board and much more beyond.

87: 'I murdered my family in lockdown' - Ft. Tony Gale extended interview
Boris Johnson gave football the go ahead to resume behind closed doors after June 1 and while some players are still hesitant, it looks like we'll be seeing West Ham back on our screens sooner rather than later.
Mark Noble also hinted in the week he would like to take up a director of football role at West Ham after he retires as he doesn't know if he could be manager after seeing what it done to Slaven Bilic.
Will Pugh, James Jones and Charlie Hawkins return to discuss all of that, and the success of the We Are West Ham 'Refer-A-Friend' scheme sees Hammers icon Tony Gale join the lads for more than half of the podcast thanks to Tony Cottee's recommendation last week.
Gale has a close relationship with Declan Rice so the lads press him on his next steps as well as David Moyes and the current state of the club.
Tony fielded questions from listeners before leaving the boys to get on with the PENULTIMATE rogue players quiz of the season.
With the scores tied at 14-14 it really is all to play for heading into the final week.
