Author V.P. Morris ("ShadowCast," "Dead Ringer," and "The Dead Letters Podcast") and podcaster Shelby Scott (creator and host of "Scare You To Sleep" podcast) return to talk 2016's psychological horror film "The Neon Demon" directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. All four of them have different responses and viewpoints to the movie! They discuss Refn's career and directing choices, the stunning visuals and use of color and lighting, if it has any deeper themes and meanings, among many other aspects of the film. They also talk about who or what the Neon Demon is and compare and contrast their opinions. Aaron and Derek can't sing, dance, write and have no real talent. V.P. and Shelby are the only thing.

Episode 105: Blood Diner w/ Nate & Tyler of the Bruce Campbell Podcast and Heather Murray
Episode 105 is the equivalent of a giant dinner special! Derek and Aaron are joined by Nate Boyd & Tyler McCarty of The Bruce Campbell Podcast and Animorphing Time Podcast and returning guest Heather to discuss 1987's demented horror comedy "Blood Diner" directed by Jackie Kong. They talk about the intentional choices and themes underneath the surface of a schlocky splatterfest. They also get into Jackie Kong's sense of humor, how the movie treats female characters, the through line to Herschell Gordon Lewis, among many other aspects of the flick. Nate & Tyler are the Sons of Sheetar. Aaron and Derek want another daily special. Heather wants you to avoid performing these stunts at home.

Episode 107: Eyes Without a Face
This week, Aaron and Derek embrace their inner Martin Scorsese "this is...cinema." They discuss 1960's French horror film "Eyes Without a Face" directed by Georges Franju. They talk about what makes the doctor the true monster, how the surgery scene is still shocking, the influence this movie has had on pop culture, and how it was censored and marketed in the United States. They also get into about Édith Scob's ethereal performance, what makes the ending amazing, and many other aspects of the film. Derek's face frightens him. Aaron's mask frightens him even more.
