Episode 85: American Fiction

The crew is 15 episodes from 100 , slowly but surely inching to that benchmark! We discuss the difference in today to episode one and the growth within the content! However today we are reviewing Cord Jackson’s new film, “American Fiction!” A film about a frustrated professor and writer , Jeffrey Wright, who must go back to his hometown and confront family issues , societial issues, and the most important thing of all, HIMSELF. This movie had a lot of elements we face as a society so we had to put on our hats and answer responsibly but also hit you with some jokes! Can non black people, truly find issue with black people using the N word? We disscuss how History in school is very watered down , and it’s rewrote as American history when it truly should be American Fiction. And we answer the most important question, WAS IT GOOD THOUGH!
