John Graham Mellor (21 Aug. 1952 – 22 Dec. 2002), aka Joe Strummer, was a British singer, musician, songwriter, and lead vocalist of the punk rock band The Clash. The Clash's explosive political lyrics and rebellious attitude had far-reaching influence on everyone incorporating reggae, ska, dub, funk, rap, and rockabilly.

He played with the 101ers, the Latino Rockabilly War, the Mescaleros, and the Pogues. He acted, scored TV shows, films, and hosted BBC Radio show London Calling. The Clash were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Jan. 2003).

Mark is the host of The Dankof Report for the Republic Broadcasting Network and the London version of The Dankof Report heard on the first Tuesday of each month for ACH and broadcast by RBN, Rense Radio, Free Speech Radio, and EuroFolkRadio.
