Today we welcome to the podcast Vidhi Data and Shalini Sardana, Co-founders and Co-CEO’s of She Raises Capital, an AI powered global funding platform for female founders with education, community and capital connections to help them stay the course to build successful businesses. We explore Vidhi and Shalini's path to partnership, and the problem they are solving for female founders and for investors through their innovative platform and community. Together they have over 40+ years of combined experience in building tech products, design and investing. They both were running companies (before joining hands) in areas of leadership and entrepreneurship for women. Shalini was running boot camps for female entrepreneurs while actively angel investing. Vidhi had a women’s leadership consulting practice to see more women in leadership roles in corporate America. They have a combined portfolio of 9 early stage investments (in women led companies) that are thriving, many of which have successfully closed Series A rounds from their initial investment at pre-seed/angel. Vidhi has over 20 years of experience building products, leading digital transformation for corporate America with large clients like Gust, ADP and Plated. Shalini is a designer with board experience spanning 25+ years, teaching & using Design Thinking along with experience in angel investing. Both shared a deep passion for supporting women and met as volunteers for a non-profit.
