"Help! My lead flow has dried up and gone away!"

Bruce was feeling overwhelmed and defeated. He has been in business since 1992, advising senior executives and attorneys on career development and job search issues.

But it was becoming more evident that his lead flow was drying up. He stated, "Most of what we're getting right now is coming from referrals, and there are just not enough of them."

Bruce was chasing after the same people over and over and over again. As he put it, "Even I would get sick of hearing from me!" The tendency is to beat people over the head to generate some activity. This will only lead to burning out and more considerable frustration.
