Today, our MD, Miranda, speaks candidly about her life experience; being abandoned as a baby, as a child in the care system, being adopted by white folks, growing up in an area where no one looked like her, racism, and the resulting journey of self-discovery and ultimately acceptance, the need to hold herself and others to account as part of the journey of healing, and the life-changing decisions she made, as a result.
It’s a no holds barred episode, including some strong language, but offers real and raw insight into her human experience... which, for anyone who knows her, is nothing less than you’d expect! And also goes to show, it’s never too late...
