Following Your Heart, the "Doctrine" of Pietism: the Pillar and Support of Apostasy
10/19/21 • 55 min
In the last episode, we explored the history of Pietism, its general definition, and how this movement is largely responsible for the weakened state of the modern church. In this episode, we dive deep into the specific, heterodox doctrines of Pietism and contrast these with true, orthodox, sound doctrine. If you say, "doctrine doesn't matter," you're making a doctrinal statement! Having doctrine is unavoidable. Since everyone has doctrine, join us in this episode as we guard ours closely (1 Tim 4:16) and refute those who contradict (Titus 1:9) on a matter of great importance to the church today...regardless of whether or not you have a peace about it.

How Pietism Won the West: The Infiltration You Already Live
Why has Christianity been powerless in the face of so many attacks from the culture? Why are most churches filled with compromising and cowardly leaders in the face of these challenges? Largely for one reason: Pietism. What started as a fringe Lutheran split soon came to covertly dominate the presupposition of the West. As Christians, we have been on the losing side of Pietism for centuries. Join us as we look into a ubiquitous church heresy that has been affecting you without your even knowing it. How? Because you're convinced it's Christianity.
