Welcome back to the Unmasked Podcast for another jaw-dropping season of unfiltered truth!
In this first episode of season 3, Tyler and Joey kick off the season with a sermon review of "The Church Remains" by Danny Clinton of Kessid "Church" in Vancouver, WA (but is it really a church?). With 'The Church' as the theme of this season, Tyler and Joey set the truth of Christ concerning His church against the false humility and contradictions of the modern 'church' revealed in this review. Buckle your seat belts and grab your micro-aggression ear muffs to get ready for another no-holds-barred, to-the-point podcast from your favorite hosts, Tyler the Honey Badger and Joey the Night Owl.

In this fourth episode of season three, Joey and Tyler return to Crossroads Church, dealing with some earlier clips from Fusco's teaching that reveal just how dangerous he really is. Fusco teaches the theologically liberal "source theory" of how the Bible was compiled, blatantly says the opposite of what Scripture teaches in the Genesis creation account, misinterprets the parable of the sower, and asserts that God's word doesn't instruct Christians on how to apply their beliefs to politics! Trust us, you'll need a racing seatbelt to stay strapped in for this one.

In this second episode of season 3, Tyler and Joey cover the vital topic of the authority of Scripture in the church, reviewing several sermon clips from Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. From their teaching on the unforgivable sin to ancient doctrinal debates over salvation, 'pastor' Brett departs from Scripture's authority leading to serious logical and theological consequences. Continuing the theme of 'The Church', this episode hits on the dangers of false and, frankly, ridiculous interpretations of God's word.
CORRECTION: Due to an editing error, an important part of Brett Meador’s commentary was left out from the “I Would...But You Would Not" clip at the 25:28 mark of our video. We’ve added a video link to the sermon below so you can listen to the full context. Listen to at least the 24:32 mark of Athey’s video where Brett Meador says, "Jesus says, 'I would have gathered you even as...'". This is what Tyler and Joey were commenting on, and their comments don’t make sense if you don’t listen to the longer clip.

Sin for You, but Not for Me: The Conscience & the Individual
Season 2, Episode 1
Has anyone else noticed that the new “I don’t have a peace about it” is the new “my conscience isn’t clear”? “I have a peace about it” is “my conscience is clear”... is the conscience really that subjective?

In the last episode, we explored the history of Pietism, its general definition, and how this movement is largely responsible for the weakened state of the modern church. In this episode, we dive deep into the specific, heterodox doctrines of Pietism and contrast these with true, orthodox, sound doctrine. If you say, "doctrine doesn't matter," you're making a doctrinal statement! Having doctrine is unavoidable. Since everyone has doctrine, join us in this episode as we guard ours closely (1 Tim 4:16) and refute those who contradict (Titus 1:9) on a matter of great importance to the church today...regardless of whether or not you have a peace about it.
Doctrine
(dŏk′trĭn)
noun
-A principle or body of principles presented for acceptance or belief, as by a religious, political, scientific, or philosophic group

Why has Christianity been powerless in the face of so many attacks from the culture? Why are most churches filled with compromising and cowardly leaders in the face of these challenges? Largely for one reason: Pietism. What started as a fringe Lutheran split soon came to covertly dominate the presupposition of the West. As Christians, we have been on the losing side of Pietism for centuries. Join us as we look into a ubiquitous church heresy that has been affecting you without your even knowing it. How? Because you're convinced it's Christianity.
