S2: Rootbeer Richie & the Reveille
01/30/24 • 28 min
Rootbeer Richie & the Reveille is a Denver-band specializing in soulful swamp pop. The group contains a booming horns section and massive soulful vocals, reminiscent of iconic jazz bands but with a new energetic twist. Backed by The Reveille, seven of the hardest hitters in Denver’s music scene, Rootbeer Richie has the most soulful rhythm & blues bands west of the Mississippi. In this episode, Rootbeer Richie and Nate Larkin open up about growing up in punk bands, writing music in the shower, and sharing his Louisiana roots with the Denver music scene.
