Lobo Lara is a cumbia duo featuring Lobo Lobo and Chilli Willy. After success with the songs “Paletas”, “Aguas Frescas”, & “Chamoy”; Lobo recruited the collaboration of Chilli Willy for new music. Their newest album “Hijo de la Cumbia” was inspired by musica Sonidera and extraterrestrial life. Through the use of various instruments, the duo were able to capture a sound described as cumbia pesada or electro cumbia. In this episode, Lobo and Chilli Willy offer insight into the Boise-band’s creative process and deep trough of inspirations.
