Lobo Lara is a cumbia duo featuring Lobo Lobo and Chilli Willy. After success with the songs “Paletas”, “Aguas Frescas”, & “Chamoy”; Lobo recruited the collaboration of Chilli Willy for new music. Their newest album “Hijo de la Cumbia” was inspired by musica Sonidera and extraterrestrial life. Through the use of various instruments, the duo were able to capture a sound described as cumbia pesada or electro cumbia. In this episode, Lobo and Chilli Willy offer insight into the Boise-band’s creative process and deep trough of inspirations.

Fuya Fuya is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer whose genres range from Hip-Hop/R&B to Latin-American Folk. She is also a member of the Ecuadorian and Denver based band Neoma where she plays electric guitar and keys. In this episode, she shares her influences from her early musical training to rediscovering traditional Ecuadorian music as an adult.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Grace DeVine is now a Denver based artist on a mission to create a sonically supernatural listening experience. Having worked with the Dru Project in the past, Grace DeVine aims to provide support for LGBTQ youth through her music. Fruta Brutal is a Denver-based Latin-rock group that seamlessly blends styles and genres throughout their compositions.
