U of U Health tracks and provides data on prescription drug shortages to the American Society of Health System Pharmacists website, one of just two sites dedicated to prescription drug shortages. Erin Fox, an adjunct professor of pharmacy and associate chief pharmacy officer at University of Utah Health, oversees that effort and is the go-to expert for national media on this problem.
