Trying Hard to Be Appropriate

In this 12th episode of the Trying Hard to Be Appropriate podcast the guys get a little serious while still keeping it as light as possible.
First, Brock shares a past abusive relationship that he was in that was extra horrible. It was obviously hard for him to talk about it at times but they managed to keep it as light as possible.
Next, Shilo shares a glimpse into a past dysfunctional relationship of his own that saw him move to another state (because of her) and nearly die (not because of her).
Finally, they quickly touch on the simple-minded folks that keep leaving the pathways and trails at Yellowstone National Park to see how hot the natural springs really are. Here's a hint: they will cook you and/or dissolve you. Stop it!

Episode 11: Pinecrest, Catastrophic Implosions, and Tales of Sleep Apnea

In this 11th episode of the Trying Hard to Be Appropriate podcast, the three amigos are reunited and ride again. Shilo is back from his Pinecrest vacation and breaks it down, including an awkward and unwarranted first night.
The guys discuss why they would ultimately never decide to be locked in a 22ft. sub and dive 13,000 plus feet to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to see the wreck of the Titanic. A $40 video game controller as the primary source of navigation? Nope. No thank you. They'll keep their $250,000...that they don't have in the first place.
Next, the dudes have started a new fighter squadron called the C-Papis...yes, they all have been officially diagnosed for sleep apnea and have to use CPAP machines when they sleep. They have interesting tales to tell about their sleep studies.
Finally, it seems as though there are a number of movies coming to a theater near you that Ryan will not be seeing. Enjoy!

Episode 13: T.R.T., Steroids and Misunderstood Song Lyrics

On this 13th episode of the Trying Hard to Be Appropriate podcast the guys start off by exploring the world of Testosterone Replacement Therapy and its affects. They also discuss steroids as a whole, including some personal experiences.
Next, the dudes discuss commonly, and not-so commonly, misunderstood song lyrics. Think of Sir Elton John's hit, Tiny Dancer, and the oft-repeated lyric, "hold me closer Tony Danza".
