Satan and a Doll Walk Into a Pub

This episode we dive into the stories that surround the unincorporated community of Joppa Indiana, thanks Lindsay. According to urban legends the whole town is Satanic and most of them revolve around the Belleville Bible Church. The tales of Satanic worship, mysterious activities, and SCP(whatever that is, Google failed me.) Oh and one other thing about Joppa #kidsaredicks. This also goes into our weird browser histories that probably put both Krys and I on the “crazy kook” watchlist. Krys tells the story of Raggedy Ann’s origin story as well as the odd goings on at her house. Also our first official listener story sent to the Trendy Lobotomy email all the way across the pond. We give you the story of the Royal Stag in Dachet UK. Keep sending us your stories and we will keep telling them.
Our theme music: “Danse Macabre - Busy Strings"

Trigger Warning: This episode deals with sexual assault and may not be appropriate for everyone.

We are sticking around Indy for at least two of our stories this episode. Krysti runs through several of the highlights of Irvington. She covers several places that are on the ghost tours that run through the neighbor on a regular basis. Tori found a story of a cemetery in the area as well. The park in that area is attached to the cemetery and seems to be the resting place of a harmonica playing ghost. Tori is also covers the Witch’s Circle in Daleville which is actually Sharp Cemetery. Looks like we need to get our butts in the car and go take some pics!

George Goes on a Walk to a Spa and a Ghost Goes Walkabout
Today Krys leads off with a story that starts in our hometown and the story of George Pogue. He was the first settler(disputed) of the Indianapolis area. And who doesn’t love a mystery? She tells of the history of Pogue’s Run and the only civil war battle in the state on Indiana. Apparently it’s better to throw your guns away than let the other side get them. Pogue’s Run is still here to this day just moved underground. Tori covers the Mudlavia Springs Hotel that has disappeared into the past. The ruins stand still there to this day. We have another hometown story suggestion this episode as well, this one from even further away. With this one we travel to Sydney Australia for the story of the Lady in White on Wakehurst Parkway. This is also a teaser from another Sydney story we will jointly cover in a future episode.
