Krysti gives us the rundown on French Lick Springs Hotel and all of it’s ghost stories. We learn that it’s nice to be rich and get the railroad to come to your front door. The ghosts run the gamut from friendly elevator operators, to the bloody bride, to ghosts living their best death riding horses through ballrooms. Tori badly explains the stone tape theory of hauntings for folks this episode. Tori covers Shades State Park and the original ominous name Shades of Death. This parks bloody past is outweighed by it’s beauty today. Also, we wanna go camping there!

Our guests stuck around for a second episode and chimed in. Tori tells the story of Whispers Estate in Mitchell Indiana. A rundown of the tragic Gibbons family and the specter of death that was with them. The varied manifestations of the supernatural has put this house in the spotlight and has been on several shows on the Travel Channel. Krysti goes into the histories of the twin mansions, Allison Mansion and the Wheeler Stokely Mansion. These two beautiful mansions sit on the campus of Marion College in Indianapolis. A rundown on the supernatural shenanigans that occur there are given as well. Chuck regales us with tales about the Screaming Bridge also known as the Witch’s Bridge in Zionsville, IN. This is a bridge that no longer exists but was imbedded in the collective psyche of the children/teenagers in the area. And Tori finally gets a chance to be Scully for once. We went road tripping with a special guest for this episode! We went to Lafayette and Battle Ground for this episode. Tara joins us for both the TL road trip and to listen to the stories we collected there. Krysti talks about Amelia Earhart and her ghostly appearances in both Hangar 1 and her previous residence hall, both of which still exist to this day. Tori covers the Battle of Tippecanoe and the Prophet’s false visions. Tenskwatawa, also known as the Prophet due to his visions of victory, was sorely mistaken in his visions of glory and led his men into a battle that they could not win. This led to the surviving members of his tribe to abandon both his visions and Prophetstown, leaving a clear path for General(soon to be president) William Henry Harrison to take over the land.
