What is the #PTK Transfer Honor Roll & Why Your School Should Apply!

You may have heard of @phithetakappa or seen the posts these past two weeks about the #PTK Transfer Honor Roll and #PTK Awareness Week, but do you know how and why you should get involved as an institution or a student??!? Well, in this week’s episode of the Transfer Nation video and podcast we will get the INSIDE SCOOP on the what, why, and how of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International from PTK Associate Director of College & Transfer Relations Heather Yush!

Not only do we cover PTK in general, but Heather also shares incredible details on the reason the Transfer Honor Roll exists, the purpose and fulfillment for universities who apply (opportunity for a free transfer inclusiveness self-assessment and evaluation of your campus anyone!!!), and just some of the other student-centered support and community building that PTK exemplifies.

If you are not part of PTK currently you will want to be after listening to this ep. I know I sure wish I had known more about the org as a student and as a Transfer Center Director!

On top of the above, the registration of the PTK Catalyst 2021 Conference is coming up!! This is an opportunity you do not want to miss as a student or transfer staff support member! The Catalyst Conference provides thought-provoking educational forums, transfer and career fairs, and the celebration of higher ed accomplishments of hundreds of thousands of students such as transfer and career success. Students, faculty, advisors, college presidents, and industry partners all participate in these high-energy festivities to pay tribute to and honor the incredibly hard work of students and the folks that support them in their educational journey.

Registration Deadline for #PTK Catalyst 2021 Conference:

Monday, March 29, 2021.
