On this episode we discuss the silent machine behind the worlds media; the clandestine manipulation of your reality and the obfuscation of the real world around us through the content we consume; the news we trust and the moulded attitudes of our friends and loved ones. An operation so grand in its complexity and execution that it is as easily identifiable as it is deniable; Operation Mockingbird
Post war propagandists and government manipulators took the forty years after World War Two and used it to lock down, up and coming student journalists and people of burgeoning influence in the media to disseminate and proliferate their political, ideological and materialistic agendas. The advent of the ubiquitous online media landscape in the past few decades and the explosion of online content creators; some with bigger followings than main stream media at this stage; were all targeted and swept up in this media manipulation machine.
We discuss this and lots more including the Hollywood agenda; social media fact checkers; The Church Committee and we try to reason why a government would try to do this to their own people and how the rest of the world took it on like it was cool!

On this episode we discuss this horrible human being, Chris Watts, and his cowardly and brutal murder of his wife and two young kids with super-guest: comedy powerhouse and the undisputed heavy weight champion of the comedic arts Colin Geddis.
The discussions and opinions on this episode will definitely be controversial as we try to understand the motivations behind such a crime; we also look deeper into the famous documentary American Murder: The Family Next Door and discuss all the info that was conveniently left out of it.
This guy is a POS, no doubt; but the circumstances around this crime shocked so many because it was so surprising to all who knew the Watts Family. Underlying issues plagued this couple including money, toxic family ties and infidelity all played a part in this very very sad case.
Joining me for these excellent and thought provoking discussions is hilarious Northman Colin Geddis; who you may have heard about from his recent support slots with Kevin Hart here in Ireland! He also has a massive following here for not only his own comedy and the magnificent comedy club in Belfast "Lavery's", but for his podcast 'General Banter' which is available on Patreon too! I do give a fair amount of props in the show so Ill refrain from licking his arse any further on the episode description :)

The Keepers - The Death of Cathy Cesnik
On this episode the wonderful Claire joins me to talk about the horrible case of the death of Cathy Cesnik and the abuse that Fr Joseph Maskell doled out on the girls of Keough High School in Baltimore as detailed in the Netflix documentary series The Keepers.
This is a rough one and we dive deep into the personalities involved including the two investigators Abbie Schaub and Gemma Hoskins who hounded law enforcement for documents pertaining to the case as well as doing emotionally harrowing interviews with some of the women involved.
We also meet Jean Werner and Teresa Lancaster who were the original accusers of Maskell. We also meet Gerry Koob and a host of other weird and inexplicably uninformed characters as we try to unravel the details of the case.
Cathy's body was found in the first days of 1970 and it sparked an investigation into the cruel and methodical abuse that Maskell was a ring leader of, in Keough High School among other spots all around Baltimore in the 1960s. This case goes all the way to the top; with police and other pillars of the community seemingly caught up in the accusations.
