Therapy Extended With Liza Young - My Reconstruction Part IV with Aimee Perry - Reconstructing All The Things

My Reconstruction Part IV with Aimee Perry - Reconstructing All The Things

07/24/22 • 56 min

Therapy Extended With Liza Young

Journey with me as I unfold my evangelical upbringing as a pastor's kid and into adulthood and all the messages I am sifting through to find the truth about God and how to best help those who are in or recovering from toxic relationships.

I believe this is an important thing to do as many messages have contributed to abuse and betrayal institutionally and domestically. They have kept many in toxic marriages, caused unbearable shame for many, and produced fear instead of hope.

My best friend of over 30 years, Aimee Perry, joins me with her grace and wisdom. She is a musician, singer, artist, writer, warrior, wife, mom, all the things, (a PK as well) and a needed voice to this discussion!

In this time where many are deconstructing their faith, I have found myself questioning many messages and experiences of my own. Many have been life-changing and freeing, however; many others have been constraining and not the heart of God.  But God welcomes our curiosity and will meet us in this together.
