These chapters serve to wind the arc down. Characters know things. Soo-won takes the Fire Tribe boys under his proverbial wing. And that's about it.

I don't know if you've all caught on, but we've known each other since we were about 12, so just, like, a ton of this episode is us reminiscing about things we used to do and enjoy. It's backstory time for Kija and Jae-ha. We get to learn about their dragon predecessors as the gang relaxes at a rural hot spring. Plus, these chapters were combined into a perfect OVA. We've missed seeing these kids animated, and every single thing the animators added for the story was perfect.
