Gary Bates is an Australian who now heads up the US office of Creation Ministries International as its CEO. He has authored or coauthored 6 books on the issue of origins but is best known for his book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the evolution connection which went on to be an Amazon top-50 best seller. He is one of very few evangelical Christians who has an interest in, and researches, the UFO phenomenon. On January 11, his movie Alien Intrusion: Unmasking a Deception premiered in over 730 theaters across the US, and is currently screening in several countries around the world. Chris received his PhD in Chemical Engineering focusing on the study of nanomaterials for use as catalysts and adsorbents from Northeastern University. He has a bachelors degree in chemical engineering and philosophy from the University of New Hampshire. He hosts a podcast on the history and philosophy of science and fringe science claims, and is interested in how technologies and sciences are accepted by societies.
Chris hopes to bring a seriousness and strong research focus to this field, as well as look at the questions posed by these phenomena from angles previously not focused on by the UFO research community. He currently resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with his wife.
