Kyla Burns joins me on the show to speak on her personal experience navigating the world as a biracial Black woman. Kyla opens up our eyes and our hearts to the stereotypes, the bullying, and the judgements that have been projected onto her just because of her appearance. She also explains that because she has lighter skin, there are additional privileges that come along with that and how it wasn't until she was a bit older that she realized how these privileges affected her and those around her.
