I had the pleasure of interviewing author Terry Barr. Terry is a thrice-nominated Pushcart Prize essayist originally from Bessemer, Al. His essay collections--Don't Date Baptists, We Might As Well Eat, and Secrets I'm Dying to Tell You are published by Red Hawk Publications and available on Amazon. His work has been published in storySouth, Under the Sun, The New Southern Fugitives, Hippocampus, EMRYS Journal, Deep South Magazine, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, and The Bitter Southerner. He writes regularly at medium.com/@terrybarr on music, food, and southern culture. He lives with his wife Nilly and his Carolina Wild Dog Max in Greenville, SC.
