The Unsupervised MomTM️ is a weekly podcast for the everyday, Christian single mom, who desires to navigate motherhood, God's way.

A wealth mindset is not only about financial security and stewardship. It is about life security and stewardship.
Parents who have a wealth mindset take ownership of their children's foundational learning which establishes confidence, character, and a mindset of abundance as they navigate today's ever changing world. It is creating space for our children to learn and grow from their mistakes, foster communication where our children are seen and heard, and build a culture of encouragement and agency that our children can carry over in other areas of their lives.
In this episode, special guest, Melinda Desmarattes discusses the importance of instilling a wealth mindset in children. She shares the pivotal role a mindset of this nature plays in the lives of growing children whose foundational life learning should begin at home. She encourages parents to teach their children foundational principles that heighten self-advocacy, induce healthy communication, employ fearlessness in asking questions, and build ownership of mistakes while avoiding toxic parenting in the process.
Melinda Desmarattes is a mom on a mission to instill a wealth mindset into children. She is currently developing Investing in Wealth as an online, education platform dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and resources to instill a wealth mindset in their children. Melinda promotes that mindset and education are crucial in shaping the younger generation's future success and financial well-being.

The Unsupervised Mom - 16 | Faith to Finish w/ Daisha Sealey
play

12/13/22 • 49 min

The Unsupervised Mom Podcast is a weekly show about the grins and grime of single motherhood, with an intent to help single mothers navigate it, God’s way.

Happy December!
In this week's episode we are discussing what is means to interrupt our finishes with a culture of faith. In this rich discussion about the faith to finish, Daisha, not-for profit organization owner, life coach and mom, helps us to unpack a progressive definition of 'finish', how to asses what we are aiming to finish, and how to apply our God gifted faith to establish a strong finish.
Daisha Sealey is a millennial mama with a passion for helping and connecting others. She has always prioritized and lived out the notion that a child’s exposure to quality activities and experiences are essential to leading and living well rounded lives. Daisha believes that her passion for teaching mothers how to build communities and raise their own self-confidence is the key to such.

As a mom of two children, Daisha began to carry out the mission of Sitting Amongst Queens, Inc. believing that all mothers deserve the space and opportunity to establish healthy, mom friendships and have access to resources that employ growth at home and in their personal lives, in a way that positively affects their children for a lifetime.

It is Daisha's hope, via the actions of her philanthropic heart, grounding life principles, and her continued commitment to God, that all mothers will provide their children with enriching experiences and open their own minds to life changing connections and opportunities. By providing support, resources, and as much love and light that one human can give, Daisha’s goal is to change motherhood communities for the better.

"Finishing is completing something to the best of your ability knowing that you gave it your all, to the end." -Daisha Sealey
